Welcome to the Ranch

A place you can breathe again.

The ranch sits on 160 private acres at the base of the Swisshelm Mountains in Cochise County, Arizona. Wide desert, dramatic rock formations, and skies unbroken by city light — the land itself is part of the treatment.

Every corner was chosen for a reason. Quiet rooms to think, a working ranch that lets equine therapy happen every day, direct mountain views from nearly every window, and covered porches where the hardest conversations finally happen.

Six spaces. One place. Built for healing.

Every building, porch, and paddock was designed for a specific kind of work — clinical, experiential, or the quiet in-between.

The land

All Around You

The land.

Sonoran desert, yucca and ocotillo, red-rock ridgelines running to the horizon. 160 private acres to walk, ride, sit, or just breathe. The working perimeter of the ranch is part of every day here.

The Milky Way returns

No city light for miles. The ranch sits under an International Dark-Sky-class horizon every single night.

Meet the herd

Horses mirror what words cannot. They feel the body’s truth before the mind catches up.

Many horses. One matched to the week.

Every client at Seven Arrows works with multiple horses across their stay — each pairing chosen based on the client’s history, presentation, and what the nervous system is asking for that week. That daily one-on-one relationship builds trust, emotional regulation, and the kind of nonverbal honesty that accelerates breakthroughs in ways talk therapy alone cannot.

The herd is worked in the open desert by certified equine-assisted therapists. It is part of why clients travel here from out of state.

After Sundown

At Seven Arrows, the nights look like this.

No city light for miles. The ranch sits under an unbroken Milky Way every clear night — the kind of sky that resets what’s possible.

Alumni don't talk about the program . They talk about the land.

Life changing. Completely and totally changed my entire life. I came to 7 Arrows with little will to live, overwhelmed with my past trauma and my addictions ruining me. These people and this place infiltrated my heart and soul. I really cannot put into words what those 41 days did for me.

I called 24 other facilities in the United States, but this one called to me, spiritually the most. I am a dual diagnosis. The moment I got the call back that I was admitted and arrival date, I had little idea of what was going to happen next. I arrived to find the most genuine humans that walk this earth.

Seven Arrows is a very special place to rest and recover. The remote setting is peaceful, with desert and mountain views on a large property. Incorporating equine therapy as well as native American traditions, the experience is a departure from what one might expect in an urban rehab center.

This place is truly special. They focus on healing from within rather than only treating symptoms of addiction. They have changed my life forever and have shown me that life is a beautiful thing. I would recommend Seven Arrows to anyone struggling with addiction.
