A clinical program disguised as a ranch.

Six reasons clinicians who have worked in larger programs keep saying Seven Arrows is the closest they have come to the job they trained for.

Small caseloads, real depth

Primary clinicians carry 4–6 clients at a time instead of the 15–20 typical of larger programs. You do the work you were trained to do, not triage.

Trauma-informed, top to bottom

Our TraumAddiction™ framework runs through every role — clinical, medical, ops, kitchen. You are not fighting the system to hold the window open.

A team that actually talks

Weekly interdisciplinary rounds. Primary clinicians, medical, nursing, BHT, and holistic staff at the same table. Not siloed cases thrown over a wall.

Training built into the week

On-site trainings in the modalities we practice (EMDR, ART, IFS, SE). Professional development is scheduled, not squeezed.

The land does some of the work

You treat clients at the base of the Swisshelm Mountains on a 160-acre ranch, under a dark sky. The setting is not a perk — it is part of the model.

Voice in how we build this

Boutique census means your case notes, training requests, and protocol suggestions actually shape how we run. Our program is a living thing you help shape.

Benefits & perks

Actual support, not perks theater.

The benefits that matter: health coverage, time off, training, and wellness you can actually use during the workday.

Signature

Paid FFTA training

Every staff member is paid to train in the Forward-Facing TraumAddiction Model (FFTA) — we are the only residential program in the world offering it right now.

Health

Medical, dental, vision

Comprehensive coverage begins two months after hire. Low-premium options available.

Time off

PTO + sick time

PTO that accrues from day one, plus a separate sick-time bank.

Licensure

Licensure supervision

Clinical supervision toward independent licensure available on-site for associate-level clinicians on staff.

Development

On-site training

Paid in-house trainings in the modalities we practice, built into the work week.

Meals

Meals on campus

Whole-food meals prepared on-site, included during shift. Kitchen accommodates dietary restrictions.

Setting

The ranch

160 acres of open Arizona sky, working horses, and quiet porches — the kind of worksite that changes how a week feels.

Interns

Internship pathways

We are actively building out internship roles — masters-level clinical, holistic, and admissions tracks. Reach out if you are mid-program.

Two ways to tell us you’re interested.

We hire BHTs constantly — apply below. For everything else, drop us a short note so the right person can call you back. The list is never the whole list.

Behavioral Health Technicians

BHTs — always hiring.

The spine of day-to-day residential life. Supports clients through meals, groups, ranch activities, and evening milieu. No clinical license required — warmth, steadiness, and good boundaries are the job. On-the-job training provided.

Everything else

Clinical, medical, holistic, admissions, interns.

Openings rotate — clinicians (LCSW / LPC / LMFT / LISAC), nurses, admissions, holistic facilitators, and intern pathways (masters-level clinical, holistic, and admissions tracks). If you're qualified and interested, we'd rather hear from you than have you guess whether we're hiring.

Six commitments we actually keep.

Short enough to remember. Specific enough to catch us when we drift. These are what we hire for, supervise toward, and expect from each other.

  1. We lead with the nervous system.

Polyvagal-informed isn't a slogan here. It governs how we run groups, how we staff milieu, how we onboard new hires, and how we handle hard moments on and off the clock.

  2. We treat trauma and addiction as one case.

No handoff, no silos. Every clinician on staff practices some version of trauma-aware care; every role in the building understands why we work this way.

  3. We protect the small census.

Growth happens, but the boutique count is the whole point. We will not chase bed-day revenue into a model that breaks the thing that makes this place work.

  4. We share our notes.

Interdisciplinary rounds are real rounds. Primary clinicians, medical, nursing, holistic, and direct care all have voice and all hear each other on every active case.

  5. We pay attention to our own regulation.

You can't co-regulate with an exhausted nervous system. Staff yoga, sauna, paid rest between intakes, and a culture that says "take the afternoon" aren't perks — they're clinical tools.

  6. We respect lineage.

Indigenous practices on the ranch are held by trusted carriers, not borrowed by our staff. Modalities have credit. Teachers have names. Programs have sources.

Five steps, usually three to four weeks.

We hire deliberately and answer every applicant. Here’s what the process actually looks like from submission to start date.

  1. Send a note

    Day 0

Email info@sevenarrowsrecovery.com with a short cover note and a resume. We read every message; you’ll hear back in 3 to 5 business days whether we’re a likely match.

  2. Screening call

    Week 1

30-minute phone call with our hiring lead to talk about the role, your background, what you’re looking for, and whether Seven Arrows might fit. No pressure, no trick questions.

  3. Campus visit

    Week 2

For clinical and leadership roles we invite candidates out to the ranch. Tour the property, sit in on a group, share a meal with the team. You’ll see the actual job, and we’ll see you in context.

  4. Team interview

    Week 2–3

A longer conversation with 2–3 team members from the role’s discipline. Clinical roles include a case discussion; operations roles include a scenario walkthrough. References contacted after this step.

  5. Offer + onboarding

    Week 3–4

Written offer with compensation, benefits, and start date. Two weeks of structured onboarding on campus — shadowing, training in our modalities, and a primary supervisor assigned from day one.

Three people who already made the move.

Initials and tenure only — every staff quote used with permission. Names available on request.

I came from a 180-bed facility. Here I actually know every client by name and I have time to do EMDR the way I was trained to do it.
